Food-grade flooring for commercial kitchens, food processing & pharmaceutical facilities. Serving Fort Myers, Orlando & all of Florida.
The gold standard for food & beverage flooring: cementitious urethane (UCRETE) delivers unmatched thermal shock resistance, chemical resistance, and hygienic performance. Ideal for commercial kitchens, breweries, food processing plants, and pharmaceutical facilities.
USDA/FDA approved, capable of withstanding steam cleaning, thermal cycling from -40°F to 250°F, and aggressive chemical exposure. MMA (methyl methacrylate) systems offer rapid-cure alternatives for minimal downtime. We install premium cementitious urethane systems including Sherwin-Williams Poly-Crete SL, a self-leveling polyurethane mortar with low VOC (<100 g/L) designed for demanding food and beverage environments.
Cementitious urethane and MMA floor systems are specifically designed for environments where hygiene, durability, and regulatory compliance are critical. Our systems meet the strictest industry standards.

Day 1 — Preparation: Mechanical grinding or shot blasting to the specified concrete surface profile, moisture testing, crack and joint repair, and cove base installation along walls and equipment curbs.
Day 2 — Installation: The self-leveling urethane mortar is mixed and placed in a continuous pour to avoid cold joints, with slip-resistant aggregate broadcast to the texture your sanitation protocol requires, then topcoated.
Day 3 — Cure & handover: Foot traffic typically resumes within 12-24 hours of topcoat; washdown and full equipment loads at 48-72 hours. For kitchens that cannot close, we phase the pour by zone or switch to an MMA system for overnight turnarounds.
Because urethane cement is our most demanding system to install correctly — thermal shock performance depends entirely on thickness, termination detailing, and substrate prep — every quote starts with an on-site assessment rather than a per-square-foot guess. It's USDA/FDA approved, seamless (no bacteria harboring cracks), resistant to thermal shock from steam cleaning, and withstands aggressive chemical sanitizers.
Urethane cement withstands thermal cycling from -40°F to 250°F. It won't crack from sudden temperature changes like hot water or steam cleaning.
Urethane cement is thicker (1/4"), more chemically resistant, handles thermal shock, and costs more. Standard epoxy works for most applications; urethane cement is for demanding food/pharma environments.
In most cases, yes. Proper surface preparation is critical. We'll assess your existing concrete and recommend the best approach during your consultation.
MMA (methyl methacrylate) is a rapid-cure alternative that can be installed and returned to service in as little as 2 hours. Ideal for facilities that can't afford extended downtime.
Typically 2-3 days depending on area size. MMA systems can be completed in 1 day with same-day return to service. We work with your schedule to minimize disruption.
When the floor sees hot-water or steam washdowns, thermal cycling, or aggressive sanitizers — commercial kitchens, breweries, dairy and food processing. If your floor stays near room temperature, a standard epoxy system usually delivers better value.
Less than it affects epoxy. Urethane cement tolerates higher substrate moisture than most resin systems, which matters on Florida slab-on-grade concrete. We still moisture-test every slab before quoting so the system is matched to actual conditions.
